Care guide
Your piece is made from polished 304L stainless steel, in silver-tone steel or with 18k gold or 18k rose gold plating. The engraving is permanent. A little care keeps the finish bright for years.
Every day
- Put your jewellery on last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray.
- Take it off before swimming, showering, the gym or cleaning.
- Keep it away from chlorine, salt water and household chemicals.
Cleaning
- Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
- If needed, use a little warm water and mild soap, then dry fully.
- Avoid polishing cloths, abrasive cleaners and ultrasonic cleaners on plated pieces. They can wear the plating.
Storing
- Keep each piece on its own, in its jewellery box or a soft pouch, so chains don't tangle or scratch.
- Store somewhere dry, away from direct sunlight.
Keychains
Steel is made for life in a pocket. Keys can leave fine marks over time. That is part of a piece that goes everywhere with you. Wipe it now and then to keep it bright.
About plating
18k gold plating is a layer of gold over steel. With gentle care it lasts a long time. Like all plated jewellery, it can soften with years of daily wear, especially where it rubs against skin or clothes.
